Commonly Misspelled Words… and their proper definitions.

Finally, a site that admits that we are not all perfect spellers! This site takes many common misspellings, explains them, and provides the correct spelling. In most cases, we give a little background to the word or phrase, why it is spelled incorrectly, and how to better remember how to spell it correctly in the future.

Here are a few examples:

aiport -> airport
Belguim -> Belgium
costal -> coastal
destionation -> destination

and there are thousands on the following pages. To find the misspelled word you are looking for, simply navigate by clicking the first letter of the word below. I know, we are assuming that you know at least the first letter of the word. If you don’t, that’s alright. Just start on page one of the “A’s” and navigate through! Eventually, you’ll find that pesky word you are looking for.
